We understand not everyone goes around and hires a pirate for their events.  Often there are a lot of questions we get asked regarding the booking and venue.  Below are the most popular questions we get with some brief answers.

How much do you charge for a kid’s party?

It depends on what we do. Our prices range from $175 for a 1-hour party to $325 for a 2-hour party plus upgrades.

 

What do you do?

We can provide a variety of entertainment ranging from a magic or dance show to face painting and balloons. We build the party based on your needs.

 

Can I combine items that you do?

We are most known for our variety packages. There is something for everyone. Instead of specializing in just one thing, we do a lot of things in one party.

 

Will you come out for just one hour?

Sure. Our most popular package is for 2 hours, but we will build the package to best suit your needs. We work a lot of parties that only last 2 hours. We are there the whole time. We have no problem keeping busy the entire time. We can come around to the tables and make balloons while the kids are eating so there’s no down time for us.

 

Where do you travel?

We will travel anywhere. There is a nominal travel fee if the job is outside a 50 mile radius of downtown Chicago.

 

Do you serve food?

No. It is up to you to provide food and beverages.

 

Do you come to us or do we travel to your location?

We are a provider of entertainment. You provide the location and we bring all the FUN to you.

 

Does the party have to be indoors?

No. We do lots of outdoor parties when the weather permits. It is up to you to provide tables and/or electricity if needed.

 

Do you charge based on the number of kids?

No. The more the merrier.

 

How many entertainers come out?

One, but if there are more than 20-25 kids I would recommend adding more time or adding an additional entertainer.

 

What kind of music do you play?

Upbeat kid friendly music. Not necessarily music that you hear on the radio.

 

How do you dress?

We dress fun and colorful. We don’t paint our faces and wear big shoes. The kids may call us a clown, but we aren’t scary and you can always see our faces. When we smile it’s our face and not a painted on smile.

 

What age groups do you work with?

The bread and butter of our business are kids between the ages of 3-8. We also work at high schools, colleges and senior events.
